After over two months without a single hand played, the durrrr Challenge came back online last night for a 795 hand session.
Sometimes, events get billed as the greatest show on Earth-no disrespect to legendary showman and circus owner P.T. Barnum-but those lofty events often fail to live up to the hype and expectations.
Apparently almost everyone decided that they wanted to wait until day 1D to buy into the main event at the 2009 WSOP. The only problem was that the day was capped at 3,000 entrants.
Another 786 hands. Another $7 million wagered. Six more pots over $100k. And ultimately: almost right back to square one in the durrrr Challenge.
With the WSOP in full swing, no one expected to see any action come out of the durrrr Challenge. They were wrong... sort of.
