The names of the 64 players to participate in this year's NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship (NHUPC) was just released, and included on the list are the names of 12 former World Series of Poker main-event champs, two Academy Award-nominated actors (Don Cheadle and Jennifer Tilly), and one former baseballer (Orel Hershiser, looking to repeat his successful run as an underdog last year).
The NHUPC will run from March 6-8 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and will be a bracket-style, single-elimination heads-up tournament, similar in format to the college basketball championship tournament.
